WWW Wednesday #16

WWWWEDNESDAYWWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

To participate in this, you just have to answer these three questions:
• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

My current read is Blood & Beauty by Sarah Dunant. It’s about the Borgias, a favorite historical family of mine, and I wanted to read about them from another point of view. I’ve read one of Sarah Dunant’s books before, The Birth of Venus, and I liked it.

What did you recently finish reading?

I had a surprisingly good reading week! I read 2 graphic novels and listened to an audiobook. Snow White by Matt Phelan was a nice adaptation of the Snow White tale, but I didn’t like Exquisite Corpse by Pénélope Bagieu much. The audiobook version of And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie that I listened to was narrated by Dan Stevens, and he did such a wonderful job with the character voices! I had planned on reading it at night and listening to it in the morning, but I was enjoying it too much to stop listening to it even for a couple of chapters.

What do you think you’ll read next?

The Walking Dead, Vol. 6: This Sorrowful Life by Robert Kirkman is still on my list of books I want to read soon. I’m so glad that my library has it now. And I want to continue reading the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. My library currently doesn’t have the physical or e-book copies available, so I will be waiting for it so I can read it soon. It’s a big book, but I’m looking forward to catching up with the series.
